Top Ten Tuesday Time! It’s a blog meme hosted over at That Artsy Reader Girl currently.
The theme this week is Rainy Day Reads. And I think it fits me perfectly because it’s been raining constantly over here for the last few days. I’ll just go with the books that I feel would be perfect read for the season. It might be because of the theme of the book, the comfort I get from it, or simply just what I feel like reading in rainy days. I’m not in the mood for dissecting the reasons for my selection or why I feel they’d be great. I guess, sometimes it’s just better to go with the feeling.

I could definitely see reading ACOTAR on a rainy day. I haven’t read the sequels to it yet; they’d probably be good on rainy days too. I haven’t read any of the others yet.

Great list! I couldn’t agree more on Pride & Prejudice, and I almost had her on mine, but Austen didn’t really fit the theme. 🤷♀️

I like to think of myself as being well read- but the truth is I stick pretty hard to old favorites lol. Can I ask what The Beantown Girls is about? Beantown is Boston right?

You got that right! The trio of friends are from Boston. They who volunteer as Red Cross Clubmobile girls in the World War II after the protagonist’s fiance gets reported missing while fighting in Germany. Some of my favorite books of all time are on your list – definitely agree that Pride and Prejudice, ACOTAR, and Harry Potter are perfect for reading on a rainy day 🙂
